A 200-pound Florida black bear is back in the wild after being found in a tree in downtown Orlando.

Local police officers found the bear in a tree on Central Boulevard near the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. Florida Fish and Wildlife officials were dispatched to catch the bear which was tranquilized. After it survived the fall from the tree the bear was taken by truck to the Ocala National Forest where was set free.

The bear is the second to be captured in the neighborhood. Wildlife officers said bears come for garbage.

Along with this bear, there have been other sightings in the Rosemont and Pine Hills areas this week. Another bear has been frequently spotted on Sanibel Island (near Fort Myers) and in St. Augustine in the last few weeks.
