Grizzly Relocated After Killing Goats in MTMontana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Dept., Bear Hunting Magazine
Montana wildlife officials captured a young grizzly bear earlier this week after killing three goats with its sibling north of Simms. They have now relocated the bear to an area west of the Continental Divide and released.
After the bear was captured, it had a radio collar attached to track its progress and to see if it returns to the area. Its sibling has not been captured, but officials are hoping, since they are now separated, that the other bear will stay away from the immediate area.
