Hunters Continue to Find Odd Items In Woods

Various Sources - State Websites, Bear Hunting Magazine

In the fall, when many hunters take to the woods for all types of hunting, there are always a few stories that make the papers.

Besides for the usual items hunters will run into, such as plastic bags that have blown around, aluminum cans and garbage, some hunters stumble upon more interesting items. Take one bear hunter in Minnesota this past week who found a damaged but unopened safe. It was turned over to Becker County Sheriff’s office for processing.

While looking through older stories of things hunters have reported finding while out hunting, besides for the occasional human remains, hunters have found a farmer's missing cows (all ten of them), "hidden" pot fields, stolen cars, money, crashed airplanes and more.
