West Virginia DNR officers had to euthanize a black bear after it was involved in an accident with a school bus in Summers County. The accident happened Tuesday morning near Pipestem.
The bus driver was just starting their morning route so no students were on board yet. The driver was not injured and no damage was done to the bus. The bear ran off into the woods and was later located by the responding DNR officers and euthanized due to the severity of its injuries.
