Montana Proposed Hound Hunting Bill

Legislative testimony was held earlier this week from both sides of proposed predator hunting bills in Montana. The Montana House Fish, Wildlife and Parks committee heard lengthy testimony on a bill for hunting black bears with hounds.
Multiple houndsmen associations were on hand to back the bill. Many in attendance stated that they regularly head to Idaho to hunt black bear with their hounds and feel Montana could support such a hunt as well.
