Arkansas Approves Bear Hunting Changes

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission approved changes to multiple animal hunting seasons and quotas during their monthly meeting held earlier this week.

Of those changes, the commission approved changes to bear hunting regulations for Zone 2, which covers parts of western and central Arkansas. They moved the archery hunting opening date to October 1 and reinstated a 150-bear quota for the zone.
