Black Bear Killed On I-40 in New Mexico

Authorities say a 400-pound black bear is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate-40 just east of Albuquerque.
The bear was hit in the morning after it apparently made its way through an electric fence designed to keep animals off the roadway. Wildlife officials are now trying to determine how the bear got through the fence.
