TN Allows Archers To Hunt Until Oct. 24

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission has decided to allow bow hunters to hunt bear in 12 East Tennessee counties through the first segment of archery season, which ends October 24th. The annual bag limit remains at one bear per hunter, regardless of the method used to take it.

Counties open for archery bear: Blount, Carter, Cocke, Greene, Jefferson (East of Highway 411), Johnson, Monroe, Polk (east of Highway 411 & north of Highway 64), Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington.
