Montana Unit 510 Closing Fall Season

The Montana FWP announced that the hunting of all black bears in Bear Management Unit 510, in portions of Bighorn, Carbon and Yellowstone Counties, will close one-half hour after sunset tonight, Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
This order came shortly after Montana FWP officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for female black bears in the unit had been met.
