Wisconsin Man Charged With Illegal HuntWisconsin News, Bear Hunting Magazine
Prosecutors in Milwaukee,l Wisconsin charged a Wisconsin man with bear hunting violations this week. The U.S. Attorney's office stated that the man was a guide on a 2009 hunt in the state where a bear was killed and tagged illegally. He then is stated to have helped take the bear meat to an undercover officer in another state.
Another charge comes from a 2011 hunt. Even though the man's hunting privileges had been revoked due to the previous case, authorities stated he shot and killed a bear. He then arranged to have the meat processed and a bear rug made. A preliminary hearing is set for October 19, 2011.
