There is something about bear hunting, maybe it is the fang and claw and the idea of hunting a predator or maybe it is the desire to challenge oneself to be part of an engaging hunting story. Whatever it is, there is no denying the intrigue and excitement involved when you are bear hunting.
Hunting is done in Alaska and the video has many kill shots included.

Greatland Productions has put out another Alaskan bear hunting video. There are both spring and fall bear hunts for black and brown/grizzly bears. These are all spot and stalk rifle hunts in remote parts of Alaska. Much of the footage is from hunts guided by outfitter, Jake Jefferson. Video is taken as bears are spotted and when the hunters are within shooting distance, so the action is quick and there is no time to set up a tripod. There are five black bears and ten brown/grizzly bears taken during the hunts. Two of the hunts are over moose kills, one they snowshoed to, and on the other they needed to be real close to get a shot. Both of them were the big bears we all dream of.
This video also showed a variety of scenery and other wildlife that can be watched during the long days of sitting and glassing for bears. It is not a long production, about 70 minutes, but it is full of action and a lot of bears. The video quality is fine and what you would expect from a do-it-yourself production. Overall it was a good video and we give it 2 1/2 paws.
